I might be a tad thick headed here, but how exactly?
I don't see how it'd be "****ING STUPID", a more open Half-Life game would be a lot more fun, and open world games can still deliver a story really well.
I think the VR definitions may make the hl3.txt much newer than I thought after first reading this, despite the source 1 stuff still being there. Though with Valve, this could range from recent to bloody ANCIENT
(well, maybe not that old, but you get the idea)
boy if ur this concerned about keyloggers you should probably consider becoming a Luddite
also be careful with the edge there my dude, don't wanna cut your finger on the "im challenging ur status quo B^/"
This would probably work far better for the mod developers in the long run if it was non-mandatory donation, rather than required payment. And even then, I think it should only be available to people who have a satisfactory track record of making mods.
No, not really, those old computer towers on the side, for instance, look far more high poly than anything I've seen in Source before. Plus, these pictures were just demonstrating things like lighting, and VR warping, they were never meant to show how far you could push the source 2 engine.
I extracted the Images from valve's recently released GDC talks if anyone would like to take a look.
While not all that interesting, it is nice to see these pictures in slightly higher definition than camera pictures taken from a crowd.
