I think I've stepped into these forums for the last time...
Thought there were more to people here compared to the PHL forums. Apparantly I was wrong.
Not that that's a huge loss for any of you :P
"have you ever seen a dead body being blown up by a grenade? have you ever shot someone in the head and saw what happened to they're body?....seriously i don't think you know what happens to a dead body unless you've been to war or something...so how can you compare?"
No, but I know a body...
I haven't been shot before, but I've certainly fell down on the ground one way or another :)
I heard from someone that you could restrict the ragdoll physics a bit, like how light or heavy the models are, how far the joints can bend and so on and so forth. To me it seems that CSS uses more...
Shadows in DooM 3 was both good and bad.
At a distance it looked awsome (except being completely unrealistically sharp), but up close, if someone was standing infront of you, the shadow would work as a flashbang.
Namely when imps charged a fireball at you.
As far as I can remember, shadows...
Some things have always puzzled my mind in games, like why the weapons are held away from your hip (or if on the hip, your eyes are actually to the left of the crosshair), but right now, what bothers me the most is the use of ragdoll physics.
I believe the term comes from the fact that models...
Their game concept is amazing and awsome, but right now, I don't feel the game plays very well.
Don't like the idea of HL weapons in a game like this. I was hoping for more Cluedo based weapons like a revolver (which they have), a club, a candlestick, those sort of things, not snarks, rocket...
Why do people like Dust? I think it's for the simple reasons that it gets you there. You quickly get to kill someone, it's rather easy to navigate through and feels more like a deathmatch map than a strategic tactical map, something CSS isn't (without the map part).
It's also very easy to tell...
Naturally. Our "reolver" is the Eagle anyways, but still, it should pack quite an amount of power, should it not? Right now it feels like the USP without the silencer and an extra bullet.
It -does- a fairly good amount of damage. I once registered 28 damage on 1 hitat about 3-4 meters hold...
"every rifle has armor penetration and so does the fn 5/7."
Does the P90 penetrate armor as well, then, seeing as it's also a .57 (though the detailed readout says it uses the same ammo as the AWMP).
The P228 uses .357, which is used by a selective revolvers, which I believe are quite...
It's been decades since I last played Counter-Strike. I think some beta 4 or 6 was my last one.
Nonetheless, I remember back then that Cliffe/Gooseman said that weapon damage is based on the ammo type it uses, not what weapon if being fired.
In other words, a Glock 18 dealt just as much...
You people get time to even say anything when playing DM2?
Don't know how it's over there, but in Europe/Scandinavia, it's spawn, lob grenades, fire, die/survive for 30 seconds.
There's never a pause in the PDW firing.
Nonetheless, plumbed -is- better.
