on the steam forums some individual posted a cool mod to the original skins... that made the fully bump mapped, i suffered no fps loss with these models and they look fantastic in the light.

What the **** ever happend to selling games on steam cheaper? The whole purpose of steam was to make games cheaper for consumers by taking the CD printing process out of the picture... I was expecting the 1st package to be no more the 40$... VAVLe is a bunch of greedy mind ****S!

i would expect hl2 actual release date (If they make the 8/17 deadline.... WHICH I DOUBT!!!) should be released for steam preloaders about a week to week and 1/2 after 8/17... So thats between 24th-30th P.S. Remember, VALVe didnt state wheather these dates were 2004, they could be...
