So it's like that for all copies of Half Life 2 on the PC? If I download a .wav file for a reload sound is there anyway to add it to Half Life 2? -

Also, I started Half Life 2 Episode 2 and the reload sound in that is 100% fine, so it is Half Life 2 only that is the problem. -

Can't find any sound folder within "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\xxx\half-life 2\hl2 I downloaded a custom reload sound but don't know where to put it. Is re-installing the only option? Hate to download it again but if that's the only choice then I may do that. On Google I can see... -

Hi, I downloaded Orange Box off Steam and all is fine, except the sound for the 9mm handgun has a missing sound when I reload on Half Life 2. The sound is there when taking the old clip out but when putting in the new clip there is no sound. I checked for updates and as far as I can...
