Have to set your video options to High Shader Quality or you will not see the rain and cool storm effects. The IVP thing is all over the steam forums but I have not had that issue so I don't know.

it's like 3do for internet. It's suppose to be a service that let's people play PC games as though they had high end systems by "somehow" streaming the game content to them. Like youtube and so many sites do with videos. It is magic1

I am thinking of buying gta4 for PC but do not want to buy a new controller just to play it. My questions are: Can I have multiple functions be bound to multiple keys just like the previous games on the PC? For example, in GTA3 and SA I could bind shoot to 4 or 5 different keys or gamepad...

This is a multiplayer FPS, there should be no unlock crap except for cosmetic things like the hats. If a sniper shoots me with a Bow, I should be able to do the same. Same kinda shit in BF2, yeah you can kill people just fine with default weapons but not as many as you may kill with the...

Picked up the Dead Ringer. You cannot cloak with it except for when you are hit and even then you only get 8 seconds, you also make a very loud and obvious sound when breaking stealth. But I did manage to sneak by and fool every person that shot me. One more thing, you cannot refill it...

I'm the same way, if I can't re-bind Right Click to move forward I pretty much can't play the game properly, not FPS games at least.

I used to play it more or less fine when the game first came out with a 128mb Geforce 4.

I'm not sure how it's gonna work...? I like the idea but it sounds like a person or clan can abuse it and constantly connect and disconnect to remove your server from the master list. Hopefully there are measures in place to prevent that.

Same here, took a few tries because I would jump on the mini-gun when things got rough. I used plenty of pipebombs and mollies, just don't touch the damn mini-gun :x You also need to be alive and inside the rescue vehicle at the finale

I too jump in for a race here and there, also it is the best racing game on PC by a longshot, if you like GRID I suggest you try "Dirt" also made by demonware. No multyplayer races really but still a Great game.
