this news is really nothing exciting: sure, everyone associates EA games with mass-marketing BS, but you have to realize that EA is doing nothing more than publishing.

i've already taken the harpoon as far as it can go through the levels. i have a few skewer pics, one of the harpoon impaling a guy in the head roughly 10 feet above the ground (it shot him up there) and another in nova with two combines and an antlion nicely displayed on a wall. the harpoon...
you know, these chick tracts were edited long ago over at the naturalselection forums. they had some absolutely hilarious ones, i need to find em on my comp and upload em.
the story in hl2 will only be as deep as you wish to delve. and believe you me, it can go far deeper than "omg we is teh escapzoring from combinez, and theres some other peoplz wit us!" i'd be willing to bet that the more observant you are, the more you'd enjoy hl2 (or enjoyed, seeing as that...

wait, wait... the grabber. haaaaahahhahahhahhaha. you know, if you're going to copy something because you think it's cool, at least make it sound respectable. sounds to me like the nickname for a perv, not a weapon in a video game.
the part where i deliberately slowed down was the coast. the dilapidated houses, the creepy loneliness, in all it was such a compelling atmosphere that simply killing, finding supply crates, and moving on was not enough for my tastes.
I need to dig up an old link... i have what is quite possibly the scariest damn one of these things... EVER. i have huge cahones, but i didn't want to watch it again... must... find... link...
took me all of 3 seconds to find it. watch this, it lures you in then...
