happy new year everybody , i'd like to know what should i do to make a train moving.
i've created a railroad as prop_static , a train as prop_physics , a path_track for a direction , but the train still doesn't move ,are they the wrong entities ?
does somebody know how to get it moving ...
hi , i encountered difficulties creating my own buildings , they don't seem realistic . Could somebody learn me a trick or two to make nice buildings i'm tired to use those in the models folder
if anyone knows a tutorial about making buildings that would be very helpful thanks to all

well... with the latest update of hammer it seems that some things have changed in my config when i look to the gameconfig tab under game executable :$SteamUserDir\half-life 2\hl2
game directory : $SteamUserDir\half-life 2\hl2
hamer map directory : $SteamUsedDir\half-life 2\hl2\maps
try...
check that link the config is a bit different from valve's recommandation but it solved the problem to me

how can i make a realistic building with a texture that match exactly the building size? i've tried to use the 'models/buildings' they're cool ...on a background not too close from the player
i guess i have to create them myself with block tool or something ?
