Hey, is there any way I can download the Orange box without steam? I'm limited to 500mb/day where I stay, but I can download unlimited if I download it to my linux server, then ftp it to my computer. I guess it doesn't track FTP usage. Is there any binaries, zips, or game files I can download...

I agree, there is little story. Valve was working too hard on the game and not the story!! God dangit. Sigh... we'll have to wait another 6 years just to get to another cliffhanger.. I think it's G-Man's briefcase, it lets him teleport and do all that stuff. :)

ah. remember in the game how Gordon was teleported to the lab, but it took a week! He said he will have to do research on that. Thats DEFINETLY a big clue to something.

So.. Packaged Users Will get to Play Nov16th, right? I'm 80% sure because in the official notice, hl2 said it was planned for RETAIL on the 16th, but I'm not sure if steam packages relate or not. I know i've missed posts in the past. Could anyone verify this? Thanks.

lol the book is about valve, I bet they're going to try and make themselves look good to get all the critics back. How much do you want to bet, it wont have anything negative about valve. lol, who would want a book of bias? Hence from the article: Says nothing about their mishaps.
