Yeah, but I don't include ports as "2007 releases." It might end up as an issue with this whole "timed exclusive" paradigm (first time I've ever used that word in the correct context!).
Episodic games don't belong in a list amongst full-length games; but Orange Box as a whole does. Bioshock destroys Episode 2 in that Bioshock is a hell of a lot longer, and is 100% new content, and is, you know, a game, whereas Episode 2 is an expansion pack, if that.
So Bioshock destroys...
I hope the campaign is 100% workable without an admin helping fix things while everyone's playing it. The time I played it- a half a year or so ago- we had to have an admin spawning cars, weapons etc. for us.
There will be no god damn funeral.
You've got Mossman & Co. possibly dying up in the arctic along with the Combine grabbing dangerous Aperture technology. Time is of the f'ing essence.
God, I would take a better-made final battle or an extended silo scene ending with a few Hunters and maybe a Gunship over the current ending any day. The silo battle was weak as hell, except for the awesome Hunter scene.
Barnacles should definitely be one-hit kill.
Am I the only one who thought the last battle sucked ass? Shoot. Drive. Repeat. Shoot Drive. Repeat. They built this great level and your only ****ing enemies were Hunters and Striders.
Someone should make a mod that creates a better version of the...
The thing was already pretty shitty.
Honestly, I would rather have no Striders and no Magnussons and just have a balls-to-the-wall fight with Hunters and Soldiers. And, again, this would have been an awesome time for a full Synth introduction, allowing Gordon to take a few shots at them...
It was a really ridiculously contrived ending, even for a Half-Life game. Apparently, since the first Strider didn't work, they decided to send... 12 more! Same with the Hunters! They couldn't at least send a Gunship or something? Hell, perfect opportunity for a Synth sighting or something.
Uh, the turrets look pretty damn lightweight to me. I could see them being ~2 pounds if they're made out of Aperture Science Magical Antimass Materials or whatever the **** they'd use.
