Hope I'm posting this in the appropriate place, and if not, my apologies and full understanding if you'd like to move it. I bought a couple of plush hunters from the Valve store last week, one for me to go with the plush headcrab and vort I already had (...
Sorry for expressing an opinion.
Actually, no I'm not. I'm not sure if you're being stupid or not but the Steam news clearly mentions Bioshock in the third paragraph. That was the bit I wanted to comment on. There's no need to get so defensive about someone expressing an interest in a game...
Forget the TF2 video, the exciting news in all of this is that Bioshock looks set to be the game that finally topples HL2 as being the best FPS ever made. And possibly my new favourite game ever, behind Deus Ex, if it's as good as they say. Can't wait until Friday.
As I said, I don't think it is Black Mesa, but the design appears to be reminiscent of it, to a degree that would suggest it's more than just a coincidence. The overall layout, position of the large screen behind the desk, PC monitor to the G-Man's/Barney's left, corridor off to the right ...
I don't think it's supposed to be BM but maybe it's supposed to be reminiscent? In terms of layout, placement of the desk and monitor, large screen above them and shape of the adjacent corridor, it looks strikingly similar to the reception area to Anamolous Materials, right at the beginning of...
Nah, honestly. if you'd seen him in the latest Lost Episode, "Not In Portland", you'd see what I mean. He wears a similar suit to the G-Man in that and his character is similarly enigmatic and domineering. Can I also just say to the above poster that I love British Columbia. I spent two weeks...
Did anyone watch the latest episode of Lost, "Not In Portland"? I couldn't help but notice the Dharma recruitment representative, Dr. Albert, is an absolute ringer for the G-Man. Not just in looks too but in the level of enigma he brought to the character. If ever a Half-Life film gets...
It would appear that way, wouldn't it? And to think people think muggers, rapists and murderers are bad ...
On a serious note, it's sold now anyway, so I'm done.
Impressive as ever but the houndeye looks like a galloping anus. That's not a euphamism, not a criticism of the animation (the animation looks top-notch in-fact), but that's just how the creature itself has literally ended up looking. Which is fair enough, adds an element of unintentional...
As I said earlier (above in fact), I ordered 4, gave 2 to mates, kept 1. Getting more interest than I anticipated now though so I decided it'd probably fairer if I pop the last one up on eBay. So check out there if you're interested in one, but don't fancy facing the international shipping and...
Heh, sorry, I wasn't trying to be hypocritical, merely trying to spark a debate on how much is a reasonable amount to ask for such an item. Clearly, I didn't really have any strong issues with the cost of the vort plus shipping to UK, but wanted to see what amount people thought would be a...
