Also Portal 1 was produced with a very small team, and that is one of the reasons it used a lot of HL2 textures etc.. Portal 2 has a full production team, so that should up the quality on all assets in the game i would assume.

I agree. The game is a real step up from L4D 1 i think. Much more intense, a lot more of those "oh sh*t oh sh*t!" moments. I especially love the addition of the gauntlets. Its so much panic to have to run to a goal while the Horde is just flooding you.

Steam is absolutely the way to go. Almost all of my game purchases as of late have been on steam. Its convenient, i get my games right away without leaving home. The prices are good (at least from a Norwegian standpoint). Having all games in one UI, tied to my account insures that i always have...

Portals do not a game make. What made Prey a good game was not the portals/gravity alone, that was a gameplay element that made the game interesting and fresh, but the game would have been nothing without a good story, a interesting setting, and working engageing gameplay. I loved the balance...

Just tried dys out for the first time.. it looks like a great game.. i havent quite gotten the hang of everything cause its pretty complicated at first glance, but it looks and plays great, and it definately feels solid.

one cool thing is that if you get the gray version, it looks a lot like the interface in hl2/css, thats kinda neat :)

This mod is exelent, and Ghost in the shell fans are gonna get a kick out of the thermoptics. ;)
