    Postal III on Source

Valve is not responsible for what other designers do with their game engine. If someone wants to licesne their engine and is willing to pay for it, that is what is pertinent to them. That's like being disgusted at Panasonic or Sony for selling a camera/film to a movie production company that...

    New SinE Video

WOW... i wasn't implying it's called FORUM and not BOARD... I was saying it is a FORUM/BOARD, which means that abbreviations/internet lingo/etc etc are expected... and also that a post can all be so "serious" when you're talking about GAMES (don't worry, when I put games in caps, I wasn't saying...

    New SinE Video

I guess, it wasn't that clever or catchy... what was so nice about it? Well I'm not saying I agree that the clip was gay, I think the game looks pretty fun and I pre-ordered it... so whatever... but I don't praise it... ppl its just a product, not a god or something... you get so defensive...

    Garry's Mod going retail

interesting how things in gaming have been, are, and will continue to change. The reason this wasn't so common before as game developers have never had a good way to do this... I mean to make the Team Fortress Quake mod something you'd have to pay for would be ideal from any business stand...

Valve confirms Episode Two already in production

don't hold your breath on $9.99... I'd be surprised to see it for anything less than $20. Granted, I don't think its worth more than $15. This isn't good news people. Get a clue, seriously. What is most likely is that "AFTERMATH" has simply been split into two to rake in more $$. Probably...

    Half-Life 2: Episode 1 Details Emerge

I still think they should have saved resuming Gordon's role for Half-Life 3... that is, if we'll ever see a Half-Life 3 (or anytime soon)... or if everything is going to go Episodic. I'd rather see a new full-blown game. I think it would have been better to pickup the story in a new place/time...

    Shores of Glory

WOW, how old are you kid? First of all, it was the JAPANESE, not the Chinese, and yes, it is a big difference, unless you like being confused with Native American Indians since you're both from the same continent. And second, remove the comment about the concentration camp and show some tact...

    New Aftermath Screenshots

1.) If steam/valve go under, they will undoubtebly release a patch to allow the game to be played without need for authenticating through steam servers. No, the days of firing up old games are NOT gone. 2.) Gone are the days of tangible ownership? If you read the EULA you'll realize thats...

    New Aftermath Screenshots

Yes that's a valid point, but it most likely WILL be like that, and there's nothing we'll be able to do. However it doesn't bother me, as I'm sure the way it will work will be a bit different. Many programs have auto-updates on them now, and ppl play online all the time. I think the online...

    New Aftermath Screenshots

indeed. the expansion should be more of the same, much like opposing force. this is a good thing. not sure if it will blow our socks off like HL2 did, since we've seen the tech/gameplay before. But I expect a good 8-10 hours of thoroughly enjoyable gameplay. It better not be some 4-5 hour deal.

    New Aftermath Screenshots

its not a surprise its steam only. thats the whole point of steam. Valve made it so that someday, developers could release their products directly, via online-distrib. This is a good thing. It means games being released when they are ready, money straight to publishers which will likely resulted...
