Funny you mention that, since the trailer caught the attention of another sound guy. Now all the weapon-related sounds have been replaced with new ones.

Fix the wiki so that people can log in and make changes. Or just remove it altogether since no one has made a single change to it in months because of the inability to log in.

Really? I know that their alpha release fell flat, but it seemed like the gameplay code was fairly intact. It's just that the mod badly needs a full art team to make the entire experience tolerable. Recruiting with a stable code base is better than recruiting with nothing to show right?

Even if it falls short of expectations, it would be nice to have more mods for the Source engine.
I'm also fairly confident that this mod will be fantastic when it releases. Hopefully the server logistics will be well organized when the time comes, as having lots of passworded 4 player servers probably won't help the pub playing community very much.
Killing Floor for UT2004 has an optimal player count of 6 people. There aren't that many dedicated servers for it, but it seems that client run servers are pretty popular and they sprout up on weekends and other peak times. Those kinds of servers were actually pretty stable in my experience...
Having your website hosted by the Fileplanet network must really suck. It seems like going with the exclusive deal does a whole lot more bad than good in my opinion, since you could easily get lots of exposure on a direct to download site like ModDB.

Looks interesting enough that I would definitely try it out as a free download, but doesn't seem fun enough that I would consider paying any money for it. From the looks of it, a few people in this thread agree with me. ;)
