There used to be a mod that reverted HL2 to the 2004 engine. I had it, but I believe it was the Steampipe update which made it unusable. Not sure if it's been updated since then.
I don't believe I'll buy it. I was still interested in the game/franchise 4-5 years ago, now not so much. It's not so much a snub at Valve as it is I have no interest in playing a new HL anymore. Might watch a play-through somewhere down the line, but I won't buy it.
I never experienced that one. The bug I get is the one where the train never shows up. You know, I don't sit around and bitch about there not being an EP3/HL3. But the least they could do is fix bugs they introduced to an existing game years ago and still haven't bothered to fix.
Did anyone read the article or look at the pic? The thing is in clear view from the street. You can't help but see it, unobstructed. It wasn't partially behind a curtain or some distance from the window, it's right there. I'm having a hard time believing a gunman would just be chilling right...
Well, I don't know, but perhaps the fact that the whole time during this "stand off" this supposed gunman didn't move at all. Unless it's of course an animated statue.
The thing is is plain view from the street, did they think the guy was just taking a nap while standing there? For 15min they...
I'm honestly shocked they didn't shoot the guy from the studio. What could've been cleared up by a phone call and a casual walk-through of the premises turns into these dumbasses arming themselves and putting a completely innocent person's life at risk. Someone needs to be put on parking meter...
