no it wont. the hl2 cfg will when it is released though, mr calhoun. though i belive that valve will keep the important wav files, maps, models etc out of the preload so noone has the chance of spoiling the game for others.

there will, though its prob just the same old "press F" thing as in hl

was the detail on that model not noticeable until i made it brighter, if not, then perhaps the source engine can make things lower quality when they cant be seen by the player, which would improve performance surely? or maybe that screenshot was taken as the unknown person in that pic was...

yes but it would give the game a more cinematic feel

it will just be the same as steam games where you go to options and can change resolution and toggle widescreen format

lol maybe that will be the case if you enable the parental lock, but there has got to definetly be somesort of queen antlion, and maybe one of hte levels you go make your way through the underground tunnels they have made and have some sort of underground melee with the queen
