Not Gordon? I only noticed that there the guy is different when Barney starts and ends talking. The person at the start has no glasses. But Barney adresses 'Dr.Freeman' or he doesn't?
The question is if Gordon Freeman is visible in the cutscenes in the actual game. I highly doubt that devs decided to breake Valve rule not to show GF and not to break the first person view. I coud be a placeholder only for the trailer.
My ocomplains are common: crowbar animation and 'dead'...
Well, it's a very categoric opinion.
There is a wide variety of remakes. Sticking to games, you can add more polygons to the models and add more detailed textures,

So neither of us know if the game is simple "updating the old maps" or it is more a reimagination, as devs claim.
Secondly remaking something doesn't mean that you don't put your creativity into it.
A lot of famous films are remakes...
I can't believe my eyes when I read the posts about "deceiving".
The trailer is deceiving you INTO WHAT??? Into buying it so you will regret later buying the game that will not look as flashy as in the trailer?
It's a MOD for god's sake.
They are not obliged to do anything.
They can...
I personally would pay for what i saw in the trailer, I understand that some feel that way.
But only VALVE CAN sell Half-life, named Black Mesa or otherwise. So the only way BM can be sold is that Valve buys the mod or sell it under its name and share the profit with devs. Omitting the fact...
I think what you got it all wrong. Black Mesa is supposed to be a high-tech facility. I can't see any reason why such facility should have "machines dripping sparks, gloomy, dull concrete rooms". And you really think "you're about to have a FANTASTIC day at work!" Why not? A black cat crossed...
