Hard Rain > Parish > Dark Carnival > Swamp Fever > Dead Center
Loved Hard Rain's premise and it looks like it would be insane to play on Realism mode. My only problem is they should have made more of a change the level plays on the back track.
Also Dark Carnival finale is sooooo much fun.
There are some civvies in Rio, but there are none in the...
Laivasse you are spot on with all your criticisms. No Russian had the potential to be an incredibly powerful scene but IW ****ed up hard.
Just finished my first playthrough and I'm not dissapointed but not blown away either.
Thing I liked:
- All the zombies are great - even the common ones and especially the new SI.
- Finally some variety in weapons. So tired of only five options in L4D.
- Melee weapons are fun and very...
Just finished.
Not that amazing and way too many secondary weapons lying around. If I had wanted to I probably could have finished the campaign with molotovs and pipe bombs.
Still it's more levels and they are biggish. Almost too biggish. Was it just me or was there a lot more open spaces...
Just finished Dear Esther last week. Amazing mod. Although I'm pretty sure there wasn't a "frightening survival horror" element in that game. A wee bit creepy yes. Frightening no.
Anyways downloading this right away. Very excited.
And if so how would you do it?
Personally I don't think it's possible. The plot of the Half-Life series is pretty bare bones already and the characters who are so life-like in game would be hard to re-create faithfully on screen.
And of course how can you fit in Gordon? Him speaking would...
It's your choice but some of my best Half-Life moments are the ones where I'm near death.
Those times where I survive a firefight with nothing but five life or where I have to sprint for cover to avoid a Strider's laser beam (sometimes leaning forward in my chair)...those are the moments where...
^^^All of these. I want Gman to stop dicking around and reveal himself as Gordon's ultimate foe. I want sacrifices to be made (Gordon/Alyx/Barney dies) but at the same time I want their to be sense of victory, not just another "back into stasis you go Mr. Freeman" ending.
Most importantly I...
