Yeah, I already had HL2 from when it first came out, so they gave me a free gift to give. I think if you already had Ep.1 they would do the same. I'm just trying to save someone some money and get a copy of my favorite game ever. I gave my CD away about 6 years ago to share the love. :(

I have an extra copy because I purchased it twice. You can give gifts on Steam now, so the extra copy shows up as a gift.
