ok i just started playing HL2:ep1 about 4 gameplay hours ago and got to fight all the headcrab zombies and was wondering if any one knew how the heck a headcrab can increase your strength by like 10 fold??? i mean those zombies are really strong if you think about it they through barrels like...

I'm @ the part where G and Alex just get into the elevator shaft right after you are in that really really dark area and you have to fight off the zombies and stuff. and @ the top of the elevator it tries to load the new area but it just freezes while saying "Loading" on the screen.... any ideas...
