Before Nov 10th, I managed to beat it just once (with two survivors killed and me and my mate barely alive). Now I've just beat it and it felt like Advanced. Maybe Valve wants to give a sense of accomplishment to all the non-hardcore players who are going to play it today for the first time...
Yeah I know, but I don't think it's the same thing. The problem is still there and I sent Valve a bug report yesterday.
Seems the FPS drop issue will keep them busy for a while though.
I wonder why the achievements aren't being awarded properly. I'm 9/9 on Head of the Class and it doesn't unlock. I was about 42500/25000 on Team Doctor and it took another session as a medic to unlock. WTF?
Of course you are right. Maybe the real flaw is that I didn't feel "compelled" to do that. I knew I could take my time (there were no enemies around) and I thought I could have explored the surroundings freely. So I went back.
Iron_cube: as I said, the road is destroyed. She could have never...
I don't know if this has been pointed out already, but I just found a pretty serious flaw in the game.
I was trying to get the fifth cache but couldn't figure out how to get up there. Then I thought I could have used the RPG if I had any ammo (which I didn't have). So I decided to go back...
Maybe they found themselves in time pressure. Impossible deadlines happen, unfortunately.
Bethesda asked the company I work for to localize Oblivion in just three weeks. We refused. I wonder if they ever realized they were talking nonsense.
