I'd love to get this game but I think the whole subscription thing is pretty cynical. I understand they need to pay for the servers etc but it's already setting pc sales records, how much more cash do they need for christ's sake? Probably just as well that I dont get it anyway though...

I downloaded it about a month ago having never played it before and I was kinda disappointed tbh. Although it was missing all the cut-scenes so admittedly I hadn't a clue what was going on! Alot of ppl talk about it though so I might pick it up if I ever see it some bargain bin.

I think the reason its slowing down is because all the uncertainty over release dates etc is gone. Before it was constant speculation about day/month now its just a few lamers wondering if it'll be unlocked at 23:59 or 00:01. For all the complaining it was the speculation that made the place...
