We didn't have to pre-purchase the first one to get the demo, did we? I may be remembering wrong, but seems like kind of a strange game. Since they've already pissed a lot of people off with the game you'd think at least they'd want to get a demo to people before the game comes out, in the hopes...
I think everyone here has some good points, but as usual forum idiocy has picked up and the fanboy / ingrate accusations have started. Good job, everyone. Of course I think the fact that they are making more L4D content is great, but I was a little shocked to learn that there was a SEQUEL...
So if my account is hijacked right now, and someone is hacking on it, I will most likely get banned in a few weeks and have to do this again? I knew I shouldn't have bought GRID on steam...that's it. I'm not buying another non-Valve game on Steam ever again. It's just too risky. I mean...
Cool. Pretty good game. I played through it on normal and enjoyed it for the most part. The underground labs are super-creepy which I enjoyed. I will say though that it seemed like it was over a lot quicker than I anticipated it would be. Still, I'd say if you've got the 30 dollars and have...
I'm very impressed by this mod, first off. I honestly think it could have done reasonably well as a standalone if it were released as a finished, polished product.
Having said that, I've hated playing it so far. I'll own up to the fact that this is all just my opinion, but fair warning to...
Well, that line of logic would work if people were taking warez, changing the title screen or whatever and then selling it as their own game. I'm not defending piracy ...but let's get things straight here. This isn't on the same level.
Yeah, I've heard many sounds from some of the monsters in the original Doom used in other games, TV shows, etc. The thing is, if they really DID take this water texture from Valve, it's a shame they couldn't just have asked to do it...I can't imagine Valve would have really held onto their...
Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure this isn't a driver issue. If it were a driver issue, wouldn't it also be doing this in HL2, CSS and HL2DM??
Okay. I play Garry's mod at work during downtime. The machine is great, but the video card is only an MX 4000. I can play HL2, HL2DM and CSS just fine at 800x600 and low details. It looks surprisingly decent.
My problem is that when I play Garry's mod here, certain models fade out of view...
I just made a server using "create server". I even had people joining who I didnt know who said they found it listed publicly. I didn't do anything beyond starting the server. You could have the port blocked on your computer somehow or something. Dunno what to tell you.
It's a cross-bow that shoots red-hot electrified rebar and can pin people to walls...I personally think that's more than cool enough. Also, I dunno how you'd have a crossbow that'd have multiple bolts. It'd require 2 "strings", and I just can't think how that'd be physically possible.
Okay..lemme try AGAIN to make myself clear. I'm already very good at grenade+grav-gun use all on my own. I was merely inquiring about scripting because I was bored at work and thought I'd try it out. I was just having trouble with the syntax is all. Forget it, though, if it's gonna start...
