Yes, mods but this is a full retail game with i assume full access to the source engine.

It doesn't look too bad, the trailer is better than their first. The only things that look off are the character animations, i just hope they are WIP and the text about survival of the fittest, but apart from those things it looks alright. A video of just gameplay footage would be good.

Hl2.net seems to be having quite a few give-aways lately. It doesn't seem to be a bad thing, generating more activity for the site though i am interested how you managed to get some good give-aways.

I agree. It is a new team, give them a fresh start and try to ignore the past about ND's development. As for the Stargate : The Last Stand, they have said on their forums that the priority is working on ND, after that they will revisit Stargate : The Last Stand.

I'm curious, why are they screwed if they are using the old team's code and assets?

I wouldn't say Eternal Silence is as polished as the other two. Pirates Vikings and Knights 2, Dystopia, The Hidden and Empires, just from off the top of my head are also as polished.
