I'd agree (although personally I got bored of SP after finishing it, and CS:S is too hard) - but considering the mods are 'on the way', I'd probably advise people to wait until those mods come out. The game will get cheaper, computers will get better, and if you're not already dying to play it...

I think the point is he's a fake Brit who's adopted the persona of an old-style military man. And he steals his mannerisms and exploits from old Kipling. But I like to think he's genuine because that's more fun and he's the best character in the game.
