Linux version has been rock solid for me, in Ubuntu and two different Arch builds now.
I'm guessing the people having issues are not using nVidia graphics cards perhaps?
Oh, and I'm using Windows 8 too, but I think I'm going to go back to Windows 7 to be honest...
About time, really surprised it took this long to be honest...
I currently use SteamTool to move some games to an SSD, but this will make it much easier (I hope).
Heh, love Steam.
Only picked up L4D2 so far since have a lot of the others from the xmas sale, and other packs.
Hoping for Metro 2033 to show up (although pack nice but got most of them), Shatter, Puzzle Dimension and Alien Breed :D
Given the HL2 and LFD images they must have ported the Source engine to OpenGL, which is great news indeed!
Now all we need is for Apple to stop being so lame with cutting edge graphics card support and it's all gravy...
Owned most of them already but can't be arsed to find the discs (some on other formats) so bought the pack :)
Looking forward to tinkering with Max Payne again; I bet the graphics still look good too.
I love the way Steam helps me spend money by being so damn convenient!
Ubi, ARE YOU LISTENING...
God dammit!
I already own the first one and it's great.
Would have bought it again, partly for the convenience that Steam offers and partly for the sequel which I imagine will be more of the same...
Guess I won't be buying it now.
Tossers...
It's a brilliant game!
I bought it last month when Eurogamer reviewed it.
Didn't realise it was coming to steam.
Wish companies would let you activate games that you've bought and come onto steam, since the convenience of the service is great, but buying games twice is not :(
