I don't want to have to go back and and download xMB everytime a patch comes out (expecially not over 56K) , I'd rather go to a net cafe, save it to a USB Key or whatever and apply the...

*** Still suffered from Steam problems. Partly to do with busy servers and partly because as a retail buyer, you're used to install and go, not install, connect, verify, de-crypt. And you have to go through the same process in the event of a format etc.

Yup. Exactly the same here, I'm having to use the network at work to register too, so they have 3 and a half hours to resolve it, this net verification was such a bad idea.
Work, I'll buy it on my lunch hour, then I have to wait till 5:30 to play.
Thanks to this stupid idea of net based activation I have to bring my PC into work.
Thankfully I'm in I.T Support. :)
