How till this interfere with the characters in the game like Gordon, Alyx, Eli, Judith, Breen, Barney and the rest. Will it be a totally new Single-player? Would be kinda if Alyx would have said ''Gordon Freeman, I presume'' when your being a vortigaunt. Same thing for being in a HEV suit.

About this cat thing, Barney at some part in the game says something like ''This aint gonna end out like last time right? I still have nightmares about that cat..'' whereupon Alyx says: ''What cat? (insert yada yada by Barney and Kleiner here) WHAT CAT!??'' and then does a typical thing with her...

You cant imagine G-man being neither good nor evil, nor talking with Barneys voice either...

If you jump through it doesnt a monster show up with some combines or something? Anyways, jump through the window anyways (I'm 100% sure you can, I think I shot it open, but I recall the jumping part).

Barney is the guard that tells you to follow him, the guard standing inside is a regular Metropolice IIRC.

Valve seemed to have removed half or at least 1/4 of the game. I'd rather have waited 1 more month and have some more maps (or longer) then have a short game released, and then having to wait for an expansion. Quite a pity all those stuff dissapeared.

I dont want Alyx or anybody else except Gordon as the playable character in HL3, it just loses the touch of Half-Life to it. However some mods or expansions where Alyx is playable (or accompanies you more often) would be great. I wouldn't want to see Steam handling any of these...
