playing doom2 once i decided to mix together a collection of random mp3's - meant to pick mostly "doom metal" 'cause it seemed apt.
accidently added in some classical tunes which just happened to feature the theramin. (wavey synth sounding instument used alot in old si-fi films, and...
actually, i've been anoyed by the fact that it loads too fast, and i don't get a chance to read the cool little game notes it puts up during those screens :P
the only problem i've had so far is a very minor bug in the game-play itself: there are many objects (furniture mostly) where you can...
i'm about a third of the way thru, and still lovin' it...i don't usually care for rpg's, but every now and then one comes along that i really fall in love with... imo this one's every bit as good as the original dues ex, as far as gameplay goes - so if you like that kind of play, and are into...
hmm...mine seems to have less bars than everyone else's (the recomended specs are now only 4 bars from the very top)...wonder what that means...

oh well...still above recomended... btw - i have a 3.2ghz proc - any idea why its only reading 2795mhz? or is that the same thing...
ya, i'm sure insurance would cover a situation like that...i'd think they'd only be down for a few weeks while they're replaced... if they have good insurance, baybe they'de even get a rental-car in the meantime to keep them moving...
it think that'd be a great folow-up to HL3 maybe...find out what was really going on during the black mesa incedent etc...i can see the g-man being the main character of a prequel once the HL saga comes to a close. could involve more strategy and comand of massive army-like squads of beings...
hmm...thats news to me...makes more sense tho...i always thought the scientist guy was calling it a "glue-on" gun, and always wondered why it did the exact opposite...still the opposite would be a cool function...oh well...
hl1's gluon was just another prototype - its possible it has been perfected in hl2 and does what it was originally supposed to do: "glue on" things. when i first saw the manipulator gun used in the e3 demo's, i thought the beam looked very similar to the gluon gun's, and i thought for some...
ram is cheap dude - cheaper than a second hard-drive, and certainly cheaper than an os...i think you'd be much better off just getting another stick of ram, rather than going thru that much hassle...just my opinion... even if you already had the rest set up, you might as well put another 80...
something just occured to me - why the hell would valve put this big of a spoiler right in the pre-load? - why aren't the maps just numbered? (d1_456,d2_457, etc) i think the fact that they put the map names right out where they would be so easy to find may have been intentionally misleading...
well lets see...maybe if H2 was coming out on pc i'd consider...oh, who am i kidding...i probably won't even be done with D3 before HL2 comes out - i'm not looking to kill that much time, and i'm certainly not going out and buying an x-box just for that one game...
ya there's no way thats all of the maps - pretty much the exact same list as the leak with a very few additions...and some subtractions like all the e3 demo's...how many maps were there in HL1? if thats really all of them they must be really huge, in which case, load times are going to be a...
