I don't think you need to start again, just look for where you've got to on the Visual Walkthrough and see what it tells you to do.
You haven't yet stated what puzzle in particular made you angry, I am interested to know which one it is. You don't need to post pictures, just a quick...
I think that the whole chance encounters thing was done to death in Opposing Force. It would only be funny to do it again if it was done in a tongue-in-cheek way. Portal seems quite tongue-in-cheek, especially from what we know of ApertureScience.com, so who knows.
Probably won't happen...
Houndeyes! Imagine taming a Houndeye, they would make great guard dogs. Ok, not guard dogs as such, maybe guard sound-attacking jumpy tripod bee-eye-face things.
I'm pretty sure it was when I played the game for myself, soon after it was released. I was at school and my friend lent me his copy to install (don't worry, I later bought the game, twice). I don’t remember hearing any hype about Half-Life or knowing what it was about but once I’d started...
this took ages... :x :rolling: :x
The idea that the Hunters are synth Houndeyes may be crackpot to some of you but it struck a cord with me. I realised that the jump that the Hunter makes at Dr. Mossman's camera in Episode 1 was like the Houndeye attack in Half-Life.

By the way, I have saved the game for anyone who wants a go.

Sorry about all the pop-ups! :|
I'm posting this because I want to know if there is anyone else who has found the same thing. I did this the second time I played through HL2.
In the Follow Freeman chapter, the part set around the large building in which you take out the generators and then go up on the roof and take out a...
Hello, this is an interesting topic but the debate about the word "necrotic" is just wrong.
Necrotic is a proper medical word, it is the adjective for "necrosis" which is the death of tissue. These terms are most often used to describe rotting flesh on a localised area of someone who is...
There is a very important difference between the Borg and the Combine.
From what I know about Star Trek the most important thing about the Borg is that they share a collective conscience. So if one Borg sees something then they all know about it. I don’t think this is true of the Combine...
When is this? I tried to find this in the trailer and I don't know what you mean.
I may be clasping at straws but if this is a screenie from a while ago then Valve may have changed their minds about the plot.
