Okay, thanks, I didn't follow everything exactly, but it is 2am :\ When you use HL2 config when you load hammer, you don't get CS:S textures, that's all I wanted, because CS:S has some nice building/house textures I need to use. Anyway, thanks for the info and I'll give it a try when I wake up...
Hello, couldn't find anything using search so I just thought I'd ask if you guys knew how to get CS:S textures and HL2 textures into Hammer at the same time. This seems fairly basic but I can't figure it out. Thanks!
I thought this map was great when I first played it. The structure is slightly different, and the detail just blew me away. There are also some new strategies to utilize that weren't in the old one, and they make it slightly more accessible. Really, since it's only been out less than a week, I'd...
Excellent atmosphere in your upgraded version. I must say though, the atmosphere looks very depressing and dark. Might want to add some atmostpheric lights to go with your atmosphere.
In my case it would be much more suiting: I use WAXD. If you're killed by me you get wax'd upon thee floor. Not that I would go so far as to actually say that.
And yes, Dario D's profound message is correct.
These new sounds only affect YOUR computer. If you were to play on a different machine without the pack and shoot, it'll sound like the regular shots on the other machine.
I like to think of it as a lifematch.
You just need one of these. Instead of "??????", it should be "?".
Example:
Garbanzo beans?
No matter how many question marks you put, you'll still get the idea across that you don't know why they call it Half-Life 2: Deathmatch.
Crikey, 5 hours? How fast is your computer, or is it just a huge map?
Anyway, I've had this happen before where no changes will register. From what I remember, all I had to do was hit 'Check for Problems', I manually fixed almost all of what I saw, and it worked the next time I compiled. Make...
Haha, yeah. First thing I tried and there was only the blue/green/red marker.
Yeah, I've had my fair share of those :)
Well, now the good news. I got this thing fixed now, thanks to FragBait (not that I don't appreciate the rest of the advice). I don't know how you knew .vmx was a backup...
How does that work? I've got all of my files (bsp, prt, vmf, vmx). The strange thing is, all the files seem to be about the right size for the map I made, yet when I open it (and I've restarted the computer) it brings up an empty map. Same thing happens when I load it up on another computer...
