As far as im aware it could be a number of things.
Im sorry if im partronising but be sure your compiling with fast/normal vis, that usually sorts out lighting with calculated radiosity etc, softening shadows.
Also try turning down the lightmap grid scale of the surfaces...

Doors are more or less complete now, with light and 'smoke' effects.
Im also beginning to stitch areas together, although we're really looking for people to help out with optimising them, as stress' are starting to raise.

Hmmm, i wasn't aware of the secret level in quake. Dare i say it but, im not a huge fan of the quake games....... Boo hoo i know.

Before i go on i just wanted to say that the map is in early stages, we have some exciting ideas for the environment, mi sure you guys wont be disapointed. As you might expect these will take time to implement, but rest assured things will never be left 'bare'.
