Dam it all, I have another problem. At least it's not to do with HL2 this time... My laptop overheats. I've checked the fans, and they seem to be unobstructed. I know that I'm not pressing the hardware or software too hard, because I'm not running anything higher than HL2, which it ran fairly...

... Look, maybe it isn't so great for you, but I ccan't tell you why. Some people find it hard to use, sure, but a lot of us find it very convieniant. I've never had a major problem with Steam.
