The grenades have two firing modes, try the secondary mode, then you just kinda let it down on the ground (if you sit and do this, it slides nicely after the ground), then it's much easier to catch it iwth the gravity gun. Just scondary-fire the grenade, switch to the gravity gun as fast as you...
They're working on a big update I think. Probably to get away bugs for the Verizon $100.000 tournament. Something about a beta engine thing. You can test it, but I noticed none of the bugs they say they fixed (like support for old demos). I probably have gotten it wrong ;)...
I'm interested in this if you stil look for admins. I play every day and I have my own server for my clan and have been in the community since the game arrived.
It would be fun and interesting to admin servers for you guys I think ;)
You can get hold of me at [email protected] if you have MSN...
I have a feeling Episode 1 will have some G-Man action. See the trailer and see if you get the same feeling.
Unless keyboard, mouse and a high resolution monitor becomes standard for consoles, I doubt HL3 will be out on consoles first.
I've also had problems with Notepad on this. Try to use another text editor like UltraEdit. It's a corny sounding name, but it's a fantastic text editor.
On a sidenote, it also has colorcoding for HTML and several programming languages.
Hehe very funny :D
The SEX public server is a good one. Almost always skilled players there, so you'll get a good fight there compared to most other public servers I've played on.
Maps are dm_lockdown and dm_avalon really. dm_overwatch is good for 1on1 also. dm_lostvillage is a very good map aswell.
Same thing, different name :)
Deathmatch: You fight to kill the other players, or those not on your team.
Lifematch: You fight to stay alive or to help your team stay alive.
Deathmatch has a more agressive tone to it though as you fight to kill, meaning, attacking, not fight to live, meaning...
Too confusing? I don't see how it can become more straight forward. And it's form the creators of the HTML, CSS and XHTML (pluss more) standards, so it's always up to date, and everything there is correct code ;)
