I followed your advice, and at first it was working fine but now theres another problem. After the splash-screen the screen goes black and theres a blue tab at the top of my screen that says "half-life 2" i tried clicking it and nothing happened, It just freezes now.

Hi, i bought half life 2 awhile ago...and it won't work no-matter what i do, it just freezes and shuts down during the splash screen, even with those start-up codes i see in those other help-forums. Please help. :( OS: Vista Home Basic.
