Simply awesome!
The map maker is a genius, it was really athmospheric and challenging all the time.
The lack of the Gravity Gun was a good thing, it made rollermines and turrets much more fun to fight (I lured the mines in water to kill them :D). Also it made the mod more realistic.
I hated how they kept following me even if I said stay. Why did Valve decide to dumb down the game like that?
For example on that sniper level I tried making them stay safe while I'll take out the sniper. No luck with that, cause stupid rebels still decided to follow me after like 10 seconds of...
Wow.... that's a stupid question.
Why do you want to see your arms?
Why do you want to see your weapon? I mean it just blocks your screen, you have your ammo display and a crosshair, why would game developers spend time on making weapon models?
You know, there is that little thing...
Ok, so Source supports dynamic lightning. But not dynamic shadows! Which makes dynamic lightning look kinda ridiculous.
The only differences i see between the two pictures is that the lamp moves, and when it is directed in your face there is a cool glare effect. It doesn't actually light up...
The demo was short but awesome, scary too, i almost freaked out when i saw my own shadow on the wall(I was close to the light source so it was HUGE).
And in HL2 you can't even see your own shadow, apparently because they want to give you that "You are Gordon Freeman" feeling, and Gordon doesn't...
I think dropships and gunships and living creatures with guns and other mechanical stuff attached.
Remember how Cubbage says "You will only anger it at first"? Anger IT, not the "anger the pilot", that must mean it's living.
