They are doing exceptionally well in the GreenLight votes! It's great to see that the interest and enthusiasm for this mod is so strong that surpasses everything else currently there.

Also, I don't think that the title "Black Mesa: Vaporware" of this topic is appropriate for these news. It may be humor (?) but in that case it's of bad taste.
Indie game is not of the same level of difficulty with a free fan made mod that remakes an entire classic game.

About the voice acting. I too don't think that Raminator was making up excuses and tried to justified a wrong choice. He said what they planned and meant for the specific va to sound like, and here's why he is sincere....

I think it makes sense for them (the team) to be (or appear to be) in a mess though. They did not expect or anticipate this video release, and it's August, which at least to me means vacation time and it's not easy for a team to coordinate.

I am a fan of this mod, so I am probably biased in my opinion, but what I saw in this video is more that satisfying and great!
Definately I am most excited about the work they did with this. It looks like a very mature work, the map design is awesome and all in all it feels like a commercial...
