Yes. I actually did that first and was then wondering what the hell to do with this bobbing platform, lol.

I'm at the see-saw puzzle that requires you to push that heavy washer/stove/whatever it is into the hole to raise the ramp. The problem is that it doesn't raise it enough. I also have both cinder blocks, the chair, the tire, and the oil drum in there as well, but it still has at least a foot...
