Er.. The official 52.16 drivers ARE on Nvidia's driver page..

I can say with absolutely certainty that these drivers will have the same IQ issues as the other 52.16 drivers floating around :)
No. Yours doesn't.
Geforce 4 / Geforce FX cards don't support 8xAA. At all. You were mislead/misinformed.
Geforce 4 / Geforce FX cards support 4xAA & 8xAF. You were either told otherwise, or you accidentally mistook 8xAF for AA.
AA (Anti-Aliasing) reduces jagged edges along the...
Somebody needs to modify the first post, and state that the drivers aren't causing ATi cards to overheat, but rather they're frying monitors.
It's being caused by a refresh rate bug in the drivers. They are forcing the refresh rate for the secondary display, during gaming, to its default max...
You more than likely have the IDE cable going to the cdrom, upside down. Which would make windows not detect your cdrom as being installed. Either that, or you don't have the power connector (white plastic connector with red/yellow/black wires) connected to the cdrom.

Tbred-B XP's overclock very well. The core can handle a decent amount of heat, as well as the multiplier is unlocked.
My XP 1800+ Tbred-B runs 2.1Ghz (168x12.5) @ 1.85, without any problems.
Honestly, these days Raw Speed (GPU/Mem) means less and less with each new core design. But it generally should be a crucial part on how a card performs. Yeah, the 5800 Ultra Ran @ 500/1000, but it was on a bus that was half the size of the leading part out at that time. So doing the math, it...
It'd be nice if the interactive objects in MP2 (Boxes, paint cans, mops, beer bottles, etc) actually cast their own shadows. It's kind of stupid-looking when you move a box, and there's no shadow. Heh.
It'd be nice if everyone on these boards used common sense like you :)
That's exactly what I was trying to say. Hence bringing up Quake 3 (You could also use Half-Life 1, Quake 2, Unreal Tournament). Games that don't use specific graphical features, so you can get a general idea on the raw...
If you guys want to to see valid detailed arguements about why Geforce FX cards can/can't run DX9 titles utilizing PS2.0 correctly, why don't you spam the http://www.beyond3d.com/ boards? At least they don't have their heads up their asses like most of you guys here do.
And comparing the...
