OMMMG!! So after a day-long sweep for malware, deleting the registry and a reboot, Steam FINALLY starts. I tried to download Counter-Strike and guess what popped back up... "Out of thread local storage!" I can't win! The error first occurred whilst starting the download of Counter-Strike 1.6...

Whenever I start Steam, within a minute of logging on, an error occurs. A small window pops up titled "Steam - Error" and it says: "Out of thread local storage!" Then Steam crashes Running Windows XP Currently no games installed [had just uninstalled Steam to fix a different problem...]...
