Well I've got a new problem now, but it has nothing to do with HL2. The new Omega drivers I'm using don't work with my laptops "Change Orientation" feature. Now I can't switch into tablet mode whenever I want. I might have to reinstall the gateway drivers.

WTF! I loaded it up again, and their faces are suddenly working now.... Bizarre... just bizarre.

Did you even read my posts? Yes, I have verified and I'm currently using Omega drivers. Oops, yeah.

should I use the "delete game content" option and try to download the game again?

I am using omega drivers BTW, it only seems to affect Dr. Kleiner and Alyx as far as i can tell.

I've tried both the regular version and the mobility version. I'm downloading the hacked omega drivers now. I let you know how they do.

I'm using the current video drivers from gateway, and when I try to install the catalyst drivers, the installer just tells me that they aren't compatible with my current card. I have a Radeon Mobility X1400, is there any way to install new drivers for them?

I'm getting a weird glitch in HL2 and HL2: E1. Some of the faces in it just started being rendered upside down or something, and now it does this all the time. I tried defragmenting the data and verifying it, but nothing works. I was working fine just a few days ago. I can't update the drivers...
