When they first launched the valvestore I was gutted that they didn't ship to the UK, then when they did I was equally gutted at the appalling shipping rates! They might as well not have bothered, what an absolute joke and a great way to crap on lots of loyal customers.
I think its unpopular for the same reason as all the new maps, a lot of people still struggle to run it smoothly, same problem with nuke and militia.

HDR is very nice, though personally I've turned it off as I get some occasional jerking with it on, and I don't see it as amazing enough to have to put up with that. But its a welcome improvement and with the added bonus that you can easily switch it off if you do get performance issues. As for...
I would imagine all the new maps will but I cant see them spending loads of time to update all the existing maps. Personally, I'd rather they spent such time creating new maps instead.
If they backed out every update that people didnt like then we would probably still be playing the very first beta of CS. I can't remember a single CS or CSS update where people haven't moaned.
Being that it's still in beta it isn't really gonna help you anyway if you think these people are cheating. It's just feeding data back to Valve, nobody will be getting banned at the beta stage.
