It does run slow a bit sometimes on my PC. I would think it would either be because of a slow computer, or mabye a fragmented HDD. Try defragmenting/cleaning up your hard drive. What are your PC's specs? Mine runs fine most of the time, but does lag sometimes. Here are my specs: 2.8 P4 1gb...

Umm...i'd disagree with most all of your negative points up there. I seriously think that this is the best FPS ever made. And no, i am NOT a biased "half-life fan" that loves the game because of the series and the old games. I like it because IT IS AN AMAZING, GROUNDBREAKING GAME.

I really didn't think the boat sequence was too long. Yes, this game IS amazing. I'm almost into the citadel! (I've been taking my time, and haven't been able to play a whole lot at once due to HW and school stuff). Valve deserves a MAJOR pat on the back for this game! :eek: It's so great! :D

I'd cancel it and order from ebgames.com guys. I got mine from that site, and it came quickly and well packaged! (note that they don't ship on weekends). Oh, and it's a GREAT book btw! :thumbs:

Can't you enable this via the options menu? I think i recall seeing a "fast weapon switch" checkbox...I think i'll check that out later. Oh, and yes, this game IS amazing. I love it :)
