i have da same problems, only that my water is a tinge of yellow??? anyone know why this is?

that sux, NEXT YEAR for aftermath, they should have forgotten about dod source and lost coast and just produced aftermath, then release lost coast as abonus and then dod source.

my specs: AMD athlon 64bit 3000+ Gigabyte motherboard Maxtor HDD 1.5 gig Geil DDR Ram Gexcube Radeon 9800XT 256MB and i ran HL2 perfectly before the whole change for "DOD source", the whole "STEAM update" that was necessary.

I BELIEVE YOU!!! i have had the sam eproblem, and every other memebr on this forum has told me to reinstall drivers and check the validity and whatnot, but many do not believe that the problem is not at my end simply because their version works fine!!! i had everything running weet as before...

i tried that, i got 5.10 and yet no difference, im just waiting for an update for steam, valve have to get it right before aftermath comes out anyway.

yep, reinstalling a fresh copy made no change

yeah i know i sound alittle concerned, thats because i have checked everything and made sure the problem is not on my end, because i know i have made no changes whatsoever until hl2 changed on its own, meaning something in the change in steam has changed my hl2. Its just hard to play the game...

will that type of patch be advertised as an update flas or will it be silent/invisible update u reckon???

It just happened to me, only this week have i had this problem. The water is now yellow rather than the clear it is suppose to be and there is no transition from water to land, only a straight line. Has anyone else had this problem? and how has it been resolved? HL:s works fine and the water...

nope, no changes so far, hl2 still has yellow watger, i dont get it.

I use overdrive, which is a program that comes with the ati drivers, apart from that no i dont overclock it.Ill check those hdr settings. Thnx man i really appreciate it.
