Hammer is more stable, easier to learn, and cleaner. It's hard to do complex architecture with though - UnrealED is way buggier, more confusing, and jumbled, but more powerful.
At least thats what I think.
I think it means every idiot with a computer, a peer file sharing program, and a copy of UT2004 or Half-Life wants to make his own counterterrorism realism mod.
10 years ago I was 5 years old, and though I didn't play Doom, I started playing Wolfenstein 3d at that time. Doom came later, when I was 7 or so.
I remember being scared of the dogs in Wolfenstein 3d (seriously, being five, that game scared the crap out of me. I liked watching my Dad play...
Yeah, then those people that have 3 posts that come on just to ask for people to help with their mod (you know, the ones who's posts are like essays and they sign it at the bottom and all) are more apparent.

I think it's pretty good, but you can see lines on the right side of the image a little bit, and to me that makes it really stick out as something put there and edited. Fix up the right side's fading a little and then it'd be way better.
The font you used looks cool, too.
Just because it's based off of a screenshot (I think all of us instantly recognized it for that anyway) doesn't mean it's traced. Like TDE said, there's a lot of inconsistencies... but it's still great.
WHO CARES?
All we know is that Half-Life 2 is imminent... the thing we've been waiting for for YEARS is almost here!
