Vertex buffer sometimes, sometimes hl2 error ( is normal to everyone ) and just egine error thats all

My Mate has some problems with css.. he get engine errors, when he goes dust2, or any big map, he can play aim_Ag_texture2 without any problems so what could the problem have been ? he played today 2 hours and he could play war with us then he crashed because of a flashbang he tryed...
