Is the Flare Gun achievement (Ignite 100 enemies with the Flare Gun) not working?
I've set several people on fire with it but the Achievement menu isn't counting it.
Except the unlockable weapons are still balanced.
The Blutsaugher restores 3 HP per successful hit? It doesn't get Critical Shots.
The Kritzkrieg gives your target a 100% Critical Shot rate? It doesn't make either of you invincible.
The Ubersaw gives 25% Ubercharge per hit? It's slow and...
Except you can't be Ubered and have the saw out at the same time, so it's not a problem with the Ubersaw.
Unless that video's description is true, which still isn't a problem with the Ubersaw's charge rate, but rather with how the game handles the weapon switching (as in, any Medic weapon that...
I don't know about you, but I'd like backstabs to only happen when they're aiming at my back. Not at my arm, not at my head, NOT while I'm staring them right in the face.
Scout Weapon Ideas:
Grappling Gun - A gun that shoots a grappling hook to surfaces and enemies, pulling you towards it. The weapon cannot get critical hits and movement is limited while being pulled. Replaces Scattergun.
Nailgun - A nailgun like the from Quake Team Fortress and Team Fortress...
I think there was a topic here earlier where someone managed to kill two people in one shot. It might have been fake, but I think that's how the sniper rifle should work.
Scout Achievement Ideas:
Batter Up - Beat XX enemies to death with the Bat
Lead Feast Kill XX enemies with the Scattergun
Eliminating the Competition - Kill XX enemy Scouts
Hardware Abuse - Destroy XX Engineer buildings with the Bat
Peashooter - Pick off XX enemies with the Pistol
Brain Buster -...
Some weapons:
Demoman:
Cluster Bomb Launcher (Grenade Launcher upgrade) - Launches grenades that explode into 4 smaller grenades (like the MIRVs from TF and TFC).
Proximity Bomb Launcher (Sticky Bomb Launcher upgrade) - Launches bombs that explode when an enemy comes within range, but they...
Balance-wise, they can't just have the radar slap a big fat target on a Spy.
It'd have to be more like an automatic "There's a Spy creepin' around here" that activates when it sees a Spy. It doesn't point out where the Spy is, just that it knows he's somewhere close by.
What about a Sentry Tower that detects cloaked and disguised Spies, as well as any other nearby enemies, but is unable to attack directly?
It would also be able to see anything a player could see from its position and swivels 360 degrees, effectively giving it more visual range than a normal...
There's so many Advisors on the worlds they conquer because they can't communicate with the other worlds easily.
They had to blow up the Citadel to send a message to their Homeworld, right?
The advisors in the City 17 Citadel might have been part of a council of some sort, where all the...
