Hey guys, it's been a long time.
Lately I've been getting GPU crashes, random restarts and such. My GPU is running at 78 degees celcius, idle. It got up to 82 while playing World of Warcraft. I think this may be the cause of the problem. I took off the overclock, did system restore, but...
Hey, I'm back...
I've created a bootdisk with Windows XP and the Asus BIOS for my mobo. I put it in the floppy, turn it on, and it says something like "Disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter". I can access the BIOS, but when I press tab, or whatever to access any more options...
You can, on low settings.
Instead of upgrading to 1GB of RAM, upgrade your video card.
6600GT, or 6800GT are good options, and if you are tight on cash, the 9600XT is a good choice. Make sure you have an AGP slot first!
Okay, I will just use this:

Again, same price... :)
I think I will take my chances with the PSU, heh... too much money for a new PSU, not worth the insurance for a cheap cheap system...
One time, I didn't uninstall my old catalysts, and I went from my score now on 3DMark, to 5100. It wasn't pretty.
Lesson of the day: Uninstall old drivers before installing new ones.
Sure, if you have the money. If money is an issue, you are better off getting something better, or waiting for new cards to come out, and prices to go down.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions, everyone.
I've decided that the mobo is really not that good, or reliable, I could not find any reviews or comments on any site other than newegg.
So, I am going to use...
