Yeah, I mean, I really imagined it as a fun event. It's not serious and it's something positive, so I don't really see why we all can't have a good time and relive some great Half-Life memories. :)

I think it's really a matter of getting a lot of people to notice and take part in the event/group, such as gaming sites and other fans, not just Valve (I'm sure they've been keeping an eye on us to some extent. :p) Thanks for the kind words.

There is nothing negative about the thread; you don't have to agree, but if you actually read it, you will understand that such a request is in no way disrespectful or whiny towards Valve.
