The reason nobody knows what is going on, is because they would have to post it on their main site, which like i said would turn off potential buyers. Because potential buyers of the preorder off steam looking to play the beta, probably have no idea they can't actually play it, i doubt they...
why don't they say whats going on at least ,the only reason i can think of why they aren't, is that noone would believe it was factual info anyways, without them posting it on their main site, which if it was a problem, which they are having of some sort, it would turn off prospective buyers...
hmm, be interesting the other way around,
what if we had the game, but yet mysteriously our credit cards didn't seem to want to work for a few days. Curious how many people would have preorder the game already of steam if this beta wasn't offered for today?
not only are you contradicting yourself, by using your first post to cry about people crying, your also trolling this forum. Valve used the incentive to play the beta to sell preorders through steam, that is the complaint most are trying make and i think it's legit.
normally, i would agree. BUT the reason i just preorder the game from VALVE and not gamespot and got a box, or a different online game dealer. IS because they said i would get to play the beta TODAY. Your forgeting that part.
at this point i'm waiting for the front page add on their store in steam to change from saying play tf2 beta sept 17th, to Preorder orange box and save 5 dollars and play TF2 beta when enough people have preordered.
