It wouldn't surprise me if Slender: Source is such a success (top ranked at 31%) because it's the 'next game in queue' for EVERYONE. So basically its success is caused by a -deliberate- glitch in the system. Unless everyone really thinks it's fricking awesome of course...
And now they've put it up on Steam's Greenlight. Steam community appears to be down, but the game's at 25% right now so they could use any vote.
Here's the LINK
There's a pretty funny interview with Gabe on a Dutch blog...here's a link. Most of it is in English, and Gabe is a recurring factor. Nice girls, too.

I just saw the first benchmarks on a Chinese site called Expreview. The 4870 is generally running at >85% of the GTX280 and beats it in HL2ep2 and Bioshock!!! Big con is the fricking noise but what a price-performance ratio!

I can't get into what must be just about the last level. Frustrating...I can see inspiration from SoF, FEAR, STALKER, Far Cry, System Shock, HL, Minerva and Doom 3. Sometimes it gets a bit repetitive but not like Halo hehe. For a mod it's good enough, hopefully they'll get the final levels fixed...
I bought it today...with the statue/box. At 4 hours it still seems too short. Just like the book. Much better than the haphazard short version. And I'm still fresh, hell, I'm even looking forward at a couple of LOTR Marathons this Winter.
STFU MaxiKana...no need to be a disrespectful piece of crap here.
There must be a million people on this planet that wake up every now and again with the cemetary gates riff in their head...
Oh that's nice...I'm waiting for a 6800GT to arrive to complement my xp2800+ and it appears to have been a wise choice:-D (like I wouldn't do any research before I order a new card hehe)
One name: Asus. Onboard Temp, voltage and rpm meter...factory drivers and software that enabled tweaking in 2000...I missed that on my Radeon.
Normally it's installed in a Windows98se based pc that I keep to play DOSgames and older games that don't run under XP like Realmyst or Tie Fighter...
Hehehe I had 4...just dragging one around since I got to use them...they actually keep shooting when you hold them
:naughty: Opponent AI is very good. Squadmembers mostly just run after you getting shot a lot and getting in the way.
